Jenna Jolliffe

Jenna completed her PhD in Wine Biotechnology at the South African Wine and Grape Research Institute at Stellenbosch University in March 2024. The primary focus of her project was to functionally characterise grapevine transcription factors regulating plant surface formation, specifically in relation to organ development and fruit ripening. This study formed part of a collaboration with the Plant Biology and Physiology Unit at Fondazione Edmund Mach (Italy), where she spent two years conducting her research. Jenna is currently a postdoctoral researcher within our lab group, continuing on with her research in fruit surface biology. Outside of the lab, Jenna is an avid traveller with a passion for nature and HIIT. 🌿
